Charlie is joining our team with 34 years of experience in the coaching industry. Charlie's knowledge and experience will greatly help The Tennis Centre's goal of developing top level performance players. Charlie is a Tennis Canada Coach 3 and has coached players to reach top ATP and WTA work rankings. Charlie has worked as the High Performance co-ordinator for Tennis BC, and Tennis Alberta, and was Tennis Alberta's coach of the year in 2011. Farnaz is an ITF level 2 coach and has a B.A degree in business management. Farnaz worked as Iran's National Head Coach and Captain for the Bille Jean King Cup (Adult women and girls under 16) for 12 years. Farnaz was the captain of Iran's National Team for Asian Olympic Games (2018) and the Coach of ITF West Asia Team 14&U Development. Angus has been a part of our coaching team since October 2023, with three years of prior experience training recreational and competitive players while attending college in Tokyo, Japan. He started playing tennis at the age of 14, and competed in middle school and high school as his school's team captain, taking his team to the conference semi-finals. Angus is quite the fanatic when it comes to tennis - while he is actively competing in adult tournaments, spends (almost too much of) his free time watching professional tennis and other sports. Derek is a 4 year division 1 tennis player, at St. John University in Queens ,NY from 2006 - 2010. He was the tennis director of Strathmore Vanderbilt Country Club, in Manhasset NY from 2012- 2015 helping grow both the junior and adult development.

Derek has also travelled with junior, collegiate and professional players in North America and Europe. He's very passionate about growing the game in the lower mainland and has been with the tennis centre since its inception in 2014.

Noah is the tennis Director at the Tennis Centre Langley. She manages all of the programs offered here in Langley, as well as the facilities operations. In addition to here managerial responsibilities Noah is also a passionate member of our coaching team. Noah was a top provincial ranked junior, and has 10 years of coaching experience.
