About the Practice programs
The Practice program is designed for players who have developed the foundational skills of tennis and are able to play points—serving, rallying, and scoring—with some consistency. While these players still require support and guidance from a coach to continue developing their skills, they are ready to build greater independence on court. Most players in this program have progressed from our Learn program, though some may have previous tennis experience before joining. In the Practice program, players continue to strengthen their core skills while training alongside others at a similar level. Like all of our programs, the Practice program follows a Play–Practice–Play format, ensuring players receive plenty of purposeful repetition and game-based learning. On average, players spend three semesters in the Practice program before progressing to the Develop program. How to Join the Practice Program To register, players must complete a short assessment to ensure proper placement. Assessments are free and take approximatley 15 minutes. To book, please call our front desk at 604-363-1773. For all additional inquiries, please contact anna@thetenniscentre.ca. |
